Romano Innocenti,having gratueted in Pottery from the Art Institute of Porta Romana ,after many years passed as an "apprentice" ceramic sculptor and painter,in various important Florentine ceramic workshops.

Finally ,in 1984,he opened his own workshop in Montefiesole. It was here that he began his new pursuit an interesting fusion between the traditional art of majolica and the ferment of contemporary life. When Romano passed away in 2005,his sons Massimo and Stefano continued his legasy,taking the business forward with the same spirit of expressive research that had distinguished their father's majolica prudoction.
